Hi, everybody. My name is John Fischer. Welcome to investorlead.com, singular, not to be confused with investorleads.com. Let’s talk about investor lead. What is an investor lead? Accredited investor is what I’d rather talk about. See, an investor’s a guy who spends money on investments, but many of the investments we have right now happen to be private placements, crowd funding, and they require an accredited investor, so be careful when you say ‘investor lead’. Make sure you ask for that investor to be accredited. That’s a real important thing because you can’t bring people into a crowd-funding deal or into most private placements, especially the 506 C as in Charlie; they must be accredited.
So get to ‘accredited investor leads’. What is that? Accredited means they made 200,000 for the last two years or $300,000 combined; a million net worth, not including their home; experience in managing their personal portfolio. They’re also asked, ‘Is 25 to $50,000 a comfortable entry level?’ and they’re mailed a private-placement memorandum. Now that’s strong. That’s something that—The guy’s got skin in the game. He’s looking to make his commission. It’s not phonebook; it’s not some $10 an hour guy who’s trying to make money out of as many surveys as possible, or some guy out in the Philippines, like some of my California counterparts do. I mean anyone who’s getting a call from the Philippines and giving up real financial information or even a guy from the States that makes 10 or $12 an hour, who’s never seen an accredited investor if they bumped into him, I question if that’s a real guy. Cuz I’m an accredited investor, and I’m not giving my financial information to anybody.
Now, if you’re a broker, and I can tell that you’re coming from a particular deal, and you really have a good deal and I’m interested, I may say yeah, I’ll take that PPM. I wanna take a look at that. It sounds good. But, for the most part, if there’s not a specific product, I’m not gonna let you find out what my net worth is or anything like that. So, remember, the best possible lead, no matter what you’re doing- stocks, you could be doing crowd funding, you could be doing private placement, precious metal, anything, is the accredited investor leads, or lead, either one.
